About the Role

CODE is looking for a Head of Corporate Partnerships (f/m/x) to join our team in the heart of Berlin. In this position, you will be responsible for driving, managing, and expanding CODE’s portfolio of corporate partnerships, building meaningful collaborations and creating mutual value with partners that align with CODE's mission of reimagining education through innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology.

As a  Head of Corporate Partnerships (f/m/x) we’re looking for someone who is able to take on the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy that aligns with CODE’s mission and fosters sustainable growth.

  • Identify new corporate partners within the tech, innovation, and education ecosystems that share our vision, with the aim of significantly growing the current portfolio.

  • Design and implement strategies to strengthen relationships with existing partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and value creation.

  • Develop corporate partnership proposals and negotiate agreements that create mutual value, driving revenue and resources to support CODE’s growth.

  • Monitor partnership performance, ensuring financial and non-financial objectives are met.

  • Act as a bridge between corporate partners and the university’s leadership team, providing regular updates on the status of partnerships and key initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate stakeholders and the university, building deep strategic relationships and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Co-create innovative, future-oriented partnership models, opportunities and initiatives that align with partners’ goals and support CODE’s entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Leverage partnerships to support cutting-edge research, innovation labs, and student-driven startups, enhancing CODE’s impact in the tech industry.

  • Drive corporate engagement events such as roundtables, hackathons, and industry forums, creating platforms for students, faculty, and partners to connect and collaborate.

  • Integrate corporate partners into student projects, faculty initiatives, and research programs, ensuring value creation and mutual benefit.

To be successful in this, we’re looking for someone with the following skillset:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or a related field, with a focus on small to mid-sized organizations.

  • A proven ability to build and scale corporate partnerships, ideally within the higher education, tech, or innovation sectors.

  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and decision-makers.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify and create partnership opportunities that align with CODE’s strategic vision.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a track record of securing high-impact deals.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to balance multiple priorities and projects with a small team.

  • German and English proficiency (at least C1).

If, beyond this, you bring along any of the following, it would give our team an edge. Keep in mind that none of these points are requirements, though:

  • Experience working in a startup or agile environment is highly valued.

  • Understanding of the higher education landscape and its intersections with industry, particularly in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

  • Familiarity with partnership models in areas like student internships, corporate R&D, innovation labs, and collaborative events.

  • Passion for education, technology, and innovative partnerships.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.

  • Ability to thrive in a small, dynamic environment and contribute creatively to CODE’s growth.

  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working cross-functionally with leadership, faculty, and students.

  • Enthusiastic about creating opportunities for students to engage with the corporate world and industry leaders.

We fully appreciate that the boundaries of your knowledge are where you start to grow, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t bring everything we need today. We want to create our future together.
