About the Role
CODE is looking for a Student Experience Coordinator (f/m/x) to join our team in the heart of Berlin.
This position sits within the Student Experience (SX) team and works closely with other team members. It focuses primarily on coordinating and implementing activities that support students' academic journey during the Orientation Semester (OS), empowering them to thrive academically, professionally, and socially, while also supporting broader Student Experience initiatives across five pillars: Student Support & Communication; Academic Success Support; Alumni Relations and Career Development; International Engagement; and Community, Wellbeing, & Personal Growth.
General responsibilities within the Student Experience team include:
Support the SX team by coordinating and implementing projects, processes, and programs that directly and indirectly support students' academic, social, and professional development, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Collaborating with faculty and other relevant stakeholders in initiatives aimed at enhancing student experience.
Ensuring students have access to resources and services that contribute to their academic success.
Supporting the resolution of student concerns and issues in a confidential, constructive, and timely manner, escalating as necessary.
Collecting and analyzing student feedback and supporting the evaluation of student experience initiatives, providing inputs to inform decision-making.
Engaging with the Student Council representatives to align on support structures for students and ensure student needs are met.
Ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion principles are reflected in all student experience initiatives, creating a supportive environment for all students.
Specific responsibilities in the Orientation Semester coordination include:
Serving as the primary point of contact for OS students, ensuring ongoing communication and support.
Ensuring timely communication and exchange of information with internal teams, incoming students and other relevant stakeholders.
Coordinating activities with internal teams (Admissions, Faculty, Academic Affairs, Campus, Events…) to ensure smooth execution of the Orientation Semester.
Driving the planning and execution of the onboarding week, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to organize sessions, activities and events.
Overseeing the Semester scheduling and the Assessment preparation (coordinating with the Examination Office and ensuring students are registered).
Supporting the SX team in the planning and execution of the OS EXPO, providing OS students with guidance on setting up their projects for the EXPO.
Collaborating with the SX team and faculty to ensure a smooth transition from OS to the first semester of the Core phase.
Collecting feedback and making data-driven suggestions for continuous improvement of the Orientation Semester.
To be successful in this, we’re looking for someone with the following skillset:
1 to 3 years of experience in student support, student life, event coordination, or related roles.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to coordinate logistics for events, programs, or student services.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in English (at least C1).
Competency in using basic digital tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Notion, Slack).
If, beyond this, you bring along any of the following, it would give our team an edge. Keep in mind that none of these points are requirements, though:
Experience working in a university or education-related setting.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent academic experience.
Familiarity with feedback collection and data entry/analysis.
Exposure to DEI initiatives or experience supporting diverse communities.
