In this position, you will support our students in their learning experience by:
Helping to create a fun, rigorous environment for students to push themselves to learn.
Answering student questions and supporting them to progress in their learning journey through office hours, Slack, and during LUs.
Ensuring that essential course feedback reaches faculty.
Supporting students in discovering and developing their project idea.
(OS_01) Running practice sessions for students, and helping with content & challenges they are struggling with.
(SE_19) Reviewing student hand-ins and giving them feedback on their project work for at least three structured hand-ins throughout the semester.
We’re looking for someone with the following skillset:
Desire to help fellow students. (Experience teaching or tutoring is a plus.)
Some understanding and practical experience with Python. (Experience with JavaScript is a big plus.)
Built, deployed, and run in production more than one (small) full-stack web application including a database.
Passed the modules SE_01 and SE_19, or likely to pass it this semester.
For working student positions at CODE, we need you to meet the following requirements:
Being currently matriculated at CODE.
Having a registered address in Germany and a German tax number.
Having the right to work in Germany.
Having a German bank account.
What you can expect:
Minijob contract
Duration: Fall Semester 2026 (August 1st - January 31st)
Part-time position (maximum 320 hours for the total duration of the contract)
15 EUR hourly rate (gross)
