About the Role

The mission of the Student Experience team is to design, develop, and deliver impactful initiatives that enrich every aspect of students’ academic journey. We foster meaningful connections, empower students to grow personally and professionally, and ensure they remain engaged with CODE’s community long after graduation.

We do this across five pillars of student support:
Student Support & Communication, Academic Success, Career Success & Personal Growth, Alumni Affairs & Lifelong Engagement, and Community & Wellbeing.

To organise the work, each Student Experience team member contributes to all Student Experience pillars while focusing on one phase of the student journey — Entry & Community, Learning & Growth, or Career & Connection.

These focus areas ensure that the team thoughtfully shapes, drives, and supports the full lifecycle of the student experience while maintaining a collaborative, generalist approach.

Focus Area

In addition to the general responsibilities, you will focus on Career Development, Alumni Affairs & Community Engagement, strengthening the connections between students, graduates, employers, and the wider CODE community.

  • Design and grow community programmes that connect students, alumni, faculty, and industry partners across cohorts and career stages.

  • Build peer-to-peer and mentoring networks that help students and graduates learn from one another.

  • Lead the integration of new graduates into the alumni community and ensure career and community touchpoints extend beyond graduation.

  • Collaborate on Graduation and transition activities, ensuring a coordinated and positive handover from student to alumni status.

  • Develop initiatives that strengthen long-term relationships among students, alumni, employers, and the wider CODE community.

  • Own the continuous improvement of key student journeys, from onboarding through academic progression and graduation.

  • Plan and deliver partner and networking events such as company visits, guest lectures, and Talent Days.

  • Lead the planning of SX formats and events and the integration of new graduates into the alumni community.
